- I enjoyed writing this research draft because it reminded me of this how I wrote review papers during the summer. This is a multimodal class that emphasizes the importance of using different mediums like social media, Word Doc, websites, et cetera for projects. This class promotes creativity and risk taking when it comes to creating a project for an intended audience. I am writing a paper about Zoom security where my targeted audience is the University of Washington students, instructors, and faculty members and my chosen medium is to write a traditional research paper. I am invested in this topic because it is currently relevant because we have been remotely learning. CHEM 142 - Chemistry is one of my favorite class because the content is very interesting and thought provoking. I wanted to include my stoichiometry lab report because it is a reminder to show my work when completing the reports. After I received my grade from the first lab report, I was highly disappointed in myself because I was not expecting the grade I got. After emailing my TA, I came to know that I had lost points because I did not show my work. From this experience, I learned to make sure I am thorough with my all my assignments. As mentioned in my reflection, I have begun to appreciate collaborative work, and fortunately, working with one or two other people on the report is helpful. MATH 124 - The main assignments for math are the worksheets and Webassign homework, so I have established a routine for these assignments. For instance, the worksheets are due every Tuesdays at 11:59 PM, which means I start the worksheet on Monday or Tuesday morning before quiz section. The homework is due every Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30 PM, which means I have to start the next week's homework either on Friday or over the weekends. In this portfolio, I have inserted a copy of the most recent worksheet. These assignments have contributed to my academic goals by helping me create a routine for when I start and finish my work. NEUSCI 198 - I took this course before the start of fall quarter because it was offered as an Early Fall Start (EFS) class. I took this class for two reasons, one being I wanted to gain experience on what online college courses would be like and second, I am interested in Neuroscience. I enjoyed this class, not just because of the content, but because of Professor Moody's teaching style. The class connected content from chemistry, physics, psychology, and there was a little bit of math involved. For our final project, my classmate and I chose to read a research paper about Auditory Verbal Hallucination and we were suppose to create a project that summarized the paper. We decided to write a play that and create an app called iAVH tracker that corresponded with the play.
